Seeing "Race" Through The Holy Spirit's Eyes

Do you have a heart to see color of people, which the world identifies as race? You need to look through God's eyes. Don't believe me? Try it, kneel down and seek God's heart, and don't come to Him with an agenda. Enter His presence with a heart to understand and know His Truth. He will speak Truth to your soul.

How do I know?  He did it for me over 20 years ago. I knew in my mind all people were created by God. God has no partiality between people. God would never build a caste system... He was the One who heard the people cry and sent Moses to set the people free from Egyptian reign. God also heard the cries of slaves in America and sent the county into a Civil War to set the people free!
We are all his sheep - there is no partiality in God's eyes! (-:

So I knelt down by my sofa in my one bedroom apartment, often my place I met Him in prayer, and asked Him to show me.... of course, He did!

He told me every soul is created by Him. There is one Spirit that regenerates the soul of mankind. The Holy Spirit enters the spirit of a person at salvation and seals every Christian (no exceptions) to be a guarantee of salvation. God enters all Christian. The spirit of humans has no skin color.
God led me to think of the human body... beneath the skin... "look at blood Lindy" - there is no difference .... every person bleeds blood of the same color!
God impressed on me to see others as He does, to treat others as He does, to love others as He does.

We need to stop tolerating racism. We must step up whenever we see it and never stand for prejudice of any degree or way. Yes, you will need to be strong, bold, and willing to not be concerned with how others perceive you. Never forget your acceptance in life is found in God, not others. We are called to be God pleasers, not people pleasers!

Look at the Bible Verse that is in the very center of all verses in the Bible:
It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man (Ps 118:8 NKJV).
Here are so more:
Blessed is that who makes the LORD his trust, And does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies (Ps 40:3 NKVJ).
For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise. (Galatians 3:26-29)

So embrace all - as one in Christ Jesus! Stop letting separating, multiculturalism mindset be filtered through the  Word of God and the unifying blood of Jesus!

Do you have verses that help you see as God sees? What has been your experience?

Coloring People???? What is That About?

Have you ever seen a little toddler exploring a box of chunky crayons for the first time? I love letting people be creative. Inside each of us is a longing to create something. Often most people are taught to conform, to color in the lines, to pick the right colors, to make real world looking objects, to follow directions..... barely does a child make it to 5 years old without being taught how to color.

Have you ever thought about the fact that children are also taught mostly by parents, but also caretakers, siblings, or relatives what to think about skin color? Children are naturally attracted to variety. They appreciate differences in color. Children don't have feelings of one color being better or worse than another. I know - my children were raised this way.
Colors are beautiful! Do you believe this?

My son was born a week or so after a friend of mine's child. He was dark skinned, my son was very pale skinned. These two boys grew up being friends. A few times we discussed how neither child ever mentioned or noticed a difference in each other. I wondered when one of them would notice.

Neither of our children went to a daycare or preschool, and we both taught them to love and respect everyone.

I believe my son was about five when he said something about noticing his body was a different color then his friends. It was no big deal. I simply confirmed what he noticed.

Also, from experience, I have seen children treated ugly by someone of another color skin and after noticed I the child begins to make a broad assumption that all people of the same color are similar. While this is a pretty natural conclusion, it must be reinforced to stick, and become a solidly held belief. What a person believes (through experience) or is taught (and therefore believes) is clearly seen in actions. We behave what we believe, our mind controls our actions.

So what are you teaching? What do you believe?

God created people different colors. Often skin color was given for a way to protect the body from dangers due to extreme heat and very hot sun. Fair skin is more likely to take in too much sunlight and the skin can be damaged permanently. Tanned skin is not naturally the way skin was meant to be. Tanned skin is damaged skin cells - the body protects the cells by turning darker so that the cell can repair.

The color is skin deep. The blood, the organs, the brain, the DNA, the soul, the spirit knows no color.

We are taught to not judge a book by its cover. We need to also teach children to not judge a person by skin color.

The truth is racism is taught. People are taught to hurt or dislike people simply due to their skin color ... it does not come natural.

What have you been taught?
